Creatara Opens 30,000-Unit E-2W Plant in Faridabad
Creatara Mobility has commissioned its first plant in Faridabad, Haryana — 30,000 units annual capacity building the IN40 and VM4 e-two-wheelers for India and export.
Scope of change
- Creatara Mobility inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Faridabad, Haryana, with an installed annual capacity of 30,000 units.
- The plant will build the IN40 and VM4 electric two-wheelers, first showcased in January 2025, for domestic and export markets.
- Founded in 2018, Creatara claims in-house capabilities across powertrain, battery systems, electronics, tooling, testing and manufacturing.

Creatara Mobility has commissioned its first manufacturing plant in Faridabad, Haryana, with an installed annual capacity of 30,000 electric two-wheelers. The Delhi-NCR-based company confirmed the figure at the plant's inauguration.
The facility will build Creatara's IN40 and VM4 electric two-wheelers for both domestic sales and export markets. The company first showed the two models in January 2025. Both ride on Creatara's proprietary platform and have completed product development, testing and certification, the company said. The vehicles carry an AI-ready Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) and portable, swappable battery packs.
Creatara describes the plant as designed for scalable, standardised production with a focus on quality control and process consistency. The company also claims in-house capabilities across powertrain, battery systems, electronics, tooling, connected technology, testing and manufacturing. On the shop floor, it applies the Japanese 5S methodology — Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain.
Those capability claims are the company's own and remain to be tested against actual output. A 30,000-unit installed capacity is modest by Indian two-wheeler standards, where tier-one OEM plants run into seven figures annually, but it marks the transition of a 2018-founded startup from development work to series production.
Founder and CEO Vikas Gupta framed the plant as the industrialisation stage of a deliberate sequence. "Creatara's journey has never been about factories first, but about a vision realized step by step," he said at the inauguration. "It began with an idea, evolved into a product, proved its potential, and achieved certification. Now, that vision is being industrialised and scaled. The path has been deliberate: Build → Validate → Certify → Industrialise → Scale — each stage strengthening the next."
Co-founder Ringlarei Pamei emphasised capital discipline over speed. "We have built Creatara with disciplined capital. Our focus has never been to spend our way into scale. It has been to create capability at every stage — technology, product, certification, supply chain and now manufacturing," Pamei said. "We believe there is tremendous opportunity for companies that can combine ambition with capital discipline, and that is the model we want to build at Creatara."
Creatara Mobility, founded in 2018, develops electric two-wheelers and related vehicle technologies, with a stated focus on connected features, customisation and electric powertrain systems.
What to watch next: first customer deliveries of the IN40 and VM4 from the Faridabad line, the pace at which Creatara ramps toward its 30,000-unit capacity, and the destination markets for the export volumes the plant is slated to serve.
